You need a indoor or outdoor HDTV compatible antenna. Once you get a antenna you need to hook it up to your television and then go to your television menu and do a scan for all channels. From there the channels signals will be locked on and this is how you get your free local channels.

If you want more channels and programming you can subscribe to your local cable provider or satellite (Directv) but you will be paying monthly fees.

Question by nick: Gaming HDTV help! 42″ 720p Plasma (600hz) or 32″ 1080p LCD (120hz)?
I am trying to buy an HDTV mainly just for games on my 360. those are my two choices.. i just dont know if the hertz or the resolution would be more important. i was told that the plasma’s refresh rate would be beneficial for gaming but i would really just like to be sure. Will it make that much of a difference on the resolution if the 42″ has 720p compared to the 32″ 1080p? if anyone could help me out, that would be greatly appreciated.. thanks!! here’s links to the two TV’s

IMHO the smaller sized 1080p its the best and most crisp looking hi definition, but if its size your seeking no pun intended then the other one!

Question by Katie P: How to hook up an Ipod to a Panasonic VIERA 58″ 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV (TCP58VT25)?
My Panasonic VIERA 58″ 1080p 3D Plasma HDTV (TCP58VT25) will not let me listen to music off of my Ipod through the TV. Is this possible?

Yes, it can be done. There are a few ways it can be done. If you would like to just play music, you can get a cable like this: http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10218&cs_id=1021804&p_id=5599&seq=1&format=2 (use monoprice, great quality and great deals too), and connect it to the red and white terminals on any of the inputs on your TV. You can then go into the menu and rename that specific input iPod if you would like.
